Lead Practitioners

Lead Practitioners are ‘Outstanding’ teachers who have the skills to impact upon the quality of teaching across the city. They will be deployed by the Alliance for at least 5 days a year into schools requesting support, allowing teachers to utilise and develop their skills by working with these outstanding practitioners in order to raise the quality of their teaching and learning.

Schools will be reimbursed for their time which will include training for the Lead Practitioner in ‘Working with other teachers’. This will create a bank of Quality Assured teachers ready to respond to the needs of the Alliance.
